This brief training will provide Montana Librarians with an overview of what to expect with the 2020 Census and how changes in how responses are collected could cause additional demand for library's public computers and WiFi. Montana's communities and public institutions, including libraries, will benefit from a complete count, and this session introduces some ideas for appropriate roles of public libraries in promoting a complete count for their community.

This training is free and open for anyone to attend. Public, tribal, and school librarians are especially encouraged. The Montana State Library will offer this training at other venues across Montana in Fall 2019 and will conduct webinars on the topic over the winter.
