In 2018 TRAILS was awarded a small grant to gather and assess student feedback regarding an accessible technology room in the library. Survey and student focus group data provided guidance for a number of physical and technology-related changes that were subsequently applied to the accessible technology room. In 2019 they were awarded another small grant to collect additional student feedback to help us evaluate the success of those upgrades and to help them determine what additional changes might be needed to make this space an optimally active and accessible research space for students. In this presentation TRAILS will briefly discuss their overall aims, methods, and outcomes. They will spend more time sharing themes that emerged from the students feedback and broader thoughts about accessible library spaces and services. As always, TRAILS welcomes Q&A and a lively discussion.
Presented by Teressa Keenan and Wendy Walker
