Discussion: plans for the September 21-26 "It's Not Too Late to Be Counted...at the Library Week" September 21-26.  

Montana libraries that are actively promoting and supporting local Complete Count efforts have been meeting online since January to share information and resources.  This meeting is specifically for planning activities and programs across the state September 21-26 and to coordinate statewide promotion.  Montana is currently well below the national average of counts - which will mean that we will lose our right to a congressional seat and our state will be significantly under funded and supported for the next decade (this includes funding for libraries). One way to help is to encourage local residents to self-report by completing their census form online. The current deadline for submitting a self-report is September 30.
