Description

Description

The description of the event.

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is an easy way to encourage families to read and help young children develop their early literacy skills by setting a goal for kiddos to read 1000 books before heading off to kindergarten. Not only is it fun for families and kids to participate in, it's easy for libraries to set up and run!

Come and listen to two libraries, Allynne Ellis from the Billings Public Library, and Jamie Greco from the Glacier County Library, give their perspectives on and experiences with the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. From this webinar, you will learn:

  • What the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is
  • Options for setting up your program, and how to run it at your library
  • How to work 1000 Books Before Kindergarten seamlessly into your existing programming

This webinar will be recorded and posted to MSL's vimeo channel afterwards.
