Shawna Hanson, Outreach Coordinator for MonTECH and Jennifer Banna, Project Coordinator for the Family to Family Health Information Center are both part of the Rural Institute at the University of Montana.
The Rural Institute supports Montanans living with disabilities and their families by providing training, lending assistive technology, and conducting research. One of the institute's programs supports early identification of developmental delays in children aged 0-5. This webinar will provide an overview of all of the services of the Rural Institute; it is appropriate for any librarian that works directly with patrons who have small children or have a family member that is challenged with a temporary or permanent impairment. Participants will: - identify the services and programs of the UM Rural Institute - be able to make a successful referral for a patron in need CE category: library services to the public OPI credit available to those that attend this webinar live
