Description

The description of the event.

The Montana State Legislature is discussing how to allocate funds Montana is receiving from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). There is a significant amount of funding allocated to local governments. During this session attendees will:

  • Learn about these funds – how much is being allocated, uses of funds, and ideas for how the funding might be spent along with the timeline

  • Identify how libraries might be able to continue, improve, or perhaps add services for their community members

  • Brainstorm how to advocate for some of this funding at the local level
