Description

The description of the event.

This session will support the staff of Bozeman Public Library, the Foundation, and the Friends group by providing a learning opportunity that addresses Burnout and Engagement (the opposite of Burnout and what we hope to achieve as effective professionals).  Presenter Ellie Martin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Routefinder Consulting, has been teaching on this topic for more than ten years and acknowledges that the last 20 months has been intense - it is almost impossible for the concept of Burnout to capture the collective trauma and grief that we have experienced in our personal and professional lives. In recent workshops on this topic, the content has been updated to better reflect the current realities that we are facing, even if just to name and normalize the challenges of our times.
