Event Description:
The Story of Self is an interactive template librarians can use with any group to help participants reflect on the experiences that have led them to form their values. Developed by Civics Under the Big Sky and utilized statewide by The Democracy Project, a teen-led, civic engagement program of Humanities Montana, The Story of Self helps individuals find their voice and craft a public comment, college essay topic, or idea pitch. Sharing the exercise with others builds confidence, group cohesion and community.
