Description

The description of the event.

Some of you met Danielle Oyler at her MLA session last year. Now she is back to provide online training that builds on the live session or works as a stand alone training to help librarians use the FWP Growing Up Wild curriculum in children's programming.

In this session Danielle will take you through a program within the Growing Up Wild curriculum called, "Lunch for a bear". She will include programming resources, ways to check out a Bear Trunk, storytime suggestions, educator resource books, new early reader resources, and more to have a fun bear-aware program in your library.

Danielle Oyler is the Wildlife Stewardship Outreach Specialist at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. She works to educate people of all ages about wildlife, and particularly about living with bears. Danielle has been living, working and playing in grizzly bear country since she was a child and has been a park ranger, naturalist, guide and educator over the course of her career.
