Policy development for small libraries
Libraries of all sizes and configurations benefit from sound operational, personnel, and patron policies. Effective library policies establish clear guidelines for trustees, patrons, and staff. This session will focus on the important concepts and legal basis for policies that govern all aspects of a library's operations. Attendees will gain information about the following topics:

Handling Policy Complaints or Concerns
There will also be a policy review and revision workshop so attendees are encouraged bring current policies or provisions they may have questions about updating.
