The description of the event.
A task force comprised of librarians from around the state reviewed the current standards, the Montana State Library Fair Library Access Resolution, and other documents about 21st century library service. Based on that work, the task force proposed significant changes to the public library standards that are now available for public comment. The task force will be meeting to discuss the feedback and timeline of adoption. The final public library standards must be adopted by the Montana State Library Commission.
