In this edition of the Webside Chat, Montana State Librarian, Jennie Stapp, recounts the actions of the June 9th Montana State Library Commission meeting, explains actions underway in appropriating ARPA funds available to the MSL, and details the actions being taken by the MSL to restore staff to work in the office following Governor Gianforte's directives. Jennie also explains that librarians who are interested in serving on core services committees that are being formed now should express their interest to Cara Orban corban@mt.gov. Work that is being contracted out to assist libraries in applying for ARPA funding will be underway soon.
