The description of the event.

Attendees will

1. become familiar with the 3 basic aspects of communication;

2. learn techniques for diffusing contentious conversations;

3. become aware of implicit biases and microagressions.

We will practice various skills and role-play a variety of situations.

Pam Henley is a consulting librarian with the Montana State Library, and previously worked in school and public libraries. She's experienced both good and bad communication situations.

This event is OPEN to everyone. Login/Registration is only required for MT Librarians to claim Continuing Education credits for Certification.
