What is the International Book Fair in Guadalajara, Mexico? It is an annual book fair that brings vendors, librarians, authors, and cultural events together for a nine day event. The American Library Association has grant programs available to help librarians attend international events. Come find out how you can participate! Christine Call works in the Technical Services department of the Butte-Silver Bow Public Library. She currently serves on the MLA Board as Director at Large-West, and as the Technical Services Interest Group Chair. Christine holds a BS in University Studies and English from BYU-Idaho and a MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She spent 4 years living in Mexico with her family where she worked as a school librarian in a bilingual elementary school. Christine currently lives in Butte, where she enjoys occasional visits from her children and spending her time with her spouse, books, and her standard poodle named Duke.
