Description

The description of the event.

Montana Code Annotated 22-1-328 established the Statewide Interlibrary Resource-Sharing Program “to administer funds appropriated by the legislature to support and facilitate resource-sharing among libraries in Montana.” What does this mean for your library? What could it mean for your library? In this session we will take a look back at Montana’s tradition of library resource sharing, discuss our current programs’ joys and concerns, and brainstorm how to create the future of resource sharing that our communities need. Cara Orban is the Consortia Coordinator at the Montana State Library. Rachel Rawn is the Director of the Havre-Hill County Library and Co-chair of MLA’s Government Affairs Committee. Alissa Wolenetz is the Director of the Lewistown Public Library and Co-chair of MLA’s Government Affairs Committee.
