In the currently contentious library world, we may feel embattled in dealings with our funders/boards/community members. Twelve Step programs teach us we can't change others. We can only change ourselves. Applying those principles to libraries can help us focus, improve communication and set boundaries.

Suzanne Reymer is a Statewide Consulting Librarian for Montana State Library. She works primarily with public libraries on a variety of issues. Suzanne has done a lot of work with broadband, technology and digital equity. In her free time, she enjoys travel and ethnic cuisines. She's also become a seeing eye human for her vision impaired dog. The fact he has few noticeable contusions speaks to her prowess as a trainer.
