Media Mavericks: Montana’s New Frontier in Teen Storytelling is a program designed to elevate and empower youth voices throughout our state through media-making and authentic audience. Learn how to implement highly-engaging, media making projects that encourage civic engagement, freedom of expression, self-advocacy, and teach real-world skills from writing and research to technical production and editing.
Ann Bernard is a veteran middle school English Teacher currently on sabbatical and working for Montana PBS as the Youth Media Specialist. Ann has a Master's in Education and will complete her Master's of English Education from Montana State University in the spring of 2025. Ann is dedicated to reinvigorating classrooms with highly engaging media projects and amplifying student voice through storytelling.
