Description

The description of the event.

Join Ryan Schmaltz from Fish Wildlife and Parks (FWP) as he explains the Montana Wild Trunk program. Get a list of libraries who currently host the trunks as well as 10 other FWP sites and even more in Montana state parks. Find out what to do with the trunks, get an overview of the Growing Up Wild curriculum guide and take home your own copy of the guide. These educational sessions are full of hands on learning and fun!

Ryan Schmaltz has worked in fisheries, wildlife and enforcement before finding his niche in education. He leads Project Wild Educator Trainings all over the state for hundreds of teachers each year. He also supervises the National Archery In Schools in nearly 200 Montana schools. He leads education programming at the Montana Wild education center in Helena and visits local schools teaching the Hooked on Fishing program.
