In this presentation attendees will learn how a librarian created a course to teach students about the different types of misinformation they discover in their daily lives. Attendees will observe class activities used to teach students effective methods for spotting and debunking misinformation.

Star Bradley is the Instruction Librarian at Montana State University. Star teaches credit bearing classes and presents guest lectures on information literacy. Star spends much of her time helping undergraduate students learn basic research skills. In Fall 2024, Star developed and taught a 3 credit course titled Reason in the Age of Misinformation.
