Description

Description

The description of the event.

Over the past year, the Billings Public Library has created an all-ages makerspace and a circulating equipment collection. In this presentation, we'll share the transformation of the space and the processes developed to support its operation. Our adaptable framework can be used to launch a makerspace of any size!

Kelsie Rubich, Assistant Library Director at Billings Public Library, has spent over two decades in libraries, driven by a passion for their transformative power in communities. Big ideas, innovation, and exploring the future of library services are her jam. She loves how these spaces bring people together, provide unique opportunities and resources, and adapt to meet changing needs.

Megan Thomas has been the Information Systems Coordinator at the Billings Public Library for the past two years. Prior to that, she worked for fifteen years at the MSU Billings Library in various roles, including reference librarian and electronic resources librarian.
