The description of the event.

Your library’s website is its digital welcome mat. New federal accessibility requirements will go into effect in 2026 so now is time to evaluate and make a plan to eliminate barriers that may exist on your website. Small steps can make this an impactful project. Come learn with us!

Colet Bartow’s professional background is in school librarianship, professional development, and state education agency leadership. Her history with MSL started in the late 1990s as a school library representative to several committees and included time as an MSL Commissioner. She currently serves as the Continuing Education Coordinator for MSL. Digital accessibility is one of the topics she is passionate about teaching.

Corey Sloan is excited to be the Statewide Consulting Librarian for the Broad Valleys and Pathfinder regions of the great state of Montana. She is excited to assist library directors and boards in their varied needs. She joined the MSL staff in July 2024. For the past 8 years Corey worked at the Bozeman Public Library in the adult programming and outreach department, first as a programming librarian and most recently as the head of the department. She brings a wealth of knowledge in web development and design!
