Bobbi deMontigny and panel In this session, we’ll go over the resources that are available to libraries for programming from MSL. Special attention will be paid to the progress of the grant-based programs associated with the Early Literacy grants and the Creative Aging program for seniors. There will be shout-outs to libraries who have participated and opportunities to learn how to get your library involved with these programs.
We’ll also review the results of the year-long data gathering survey that started at the MLA Annual Conference last year and took place over the course of many site visits, federation meetings, and webinars. As we look over the results, we will discuss ways that MSL is looking to meet needs that have been identified through this survey and gather library input on proposed solutions. Come prepared to interact. Programming staff is usually a fun group, so this session should be a good time for anyone who joins in.
Bobbi deMontigny lives north of Helena Montana where she enjoys many active and artistic hobbies in the summer, and curling up with her dog and a good book in the winter. With an MLIS and over a decade of experience in the field, she is thankful for the opportunities she has had to serve just about every kind of library across the state of Montana as well as academic and transportation libraries nationally.
