Margaret Mullins and Trina Filan Libraries have real power to impact patron health. This is a chance to dig into a wealth of resources at your fingertips and raise your community’s awareness about their health and wellness. Two public health professionals unpack several MSL Virtual Trunks and a Toolkit in this fun, interactive session.
Margaret Mullins is the Social Determinants of Health Program Manager with the Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Bureau. She helps to guide the health equity and social determinants of health work with the programs in the Bureau, interfacing with health care systems, community-based organizations (like libraries!) and other partners to build connections.
Trina Filan is a public health evaluator for diabetes and cardiovascular health. Trina loves connecting people to each other and to the resources they need for themselves and their communities to thrive imaginatively and joyfully. Trina is certain that all places have the assets they need to thrive and looks forward to every opportunity to learn about how terrific and resilient Montana’s communities are.
