Nicholos Wethington

Did you know that your library can check out a telescope to patrons just like a book? Learn about a NASA-funded initiative through the University of Montana spectrUM Discovery Area and the Montana State Library that will provide a FREE telescope to all public libraries and their branches in Montana.

Nick Wethington is a longtime astronomy enthusiast who works alongside librarians at the spectrUM Discovery Area, a University of Montana science museum which is located within the Missoula Public Library. He is currently living his dream as the Associate Director of Library Telescope Programs at spectrUM to embed NASA resources and tabletop telescopes in all public libraries and their branches across the state of Montana. Wethington is the co-president of the Western Montana Astronomical Association, Missoula's local astronomy club.
