Mary Wooldridge

Marketing Basics for Libraries introduces practical, budget-friendly marketing tools and basic design
principles tailored to libraries. Participants will explore how to define target audiences, build a library
brand, leverage social media, and create effective outreach campaigns. The session will also provide a
simple overview of general ADA regulations and compliance.

Mary Wooldridge has worked at Missoula Public Library for 13 years and brings a strong background in
education and communications to her role as Public Relations Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science
in English Language Arts from the University of Montana and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in
Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Mary
enjoys reading graphic novels, navigating life with two teen boys, and hiking with her dogs.
