The broadband mapping program consists of data collection, the development of a statewide broadband availability map, transmission of that data to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration for the development of its national broadband map, and the long-term maintenance of this data by the state. Under the planning portion of this program, the program will look to perform outreach and facilitation to identify and prioritize broadband access needs and solutions in local communities and across the State.
