Channell modifications include barbs or jetties, riprap, and dikes.</abstract>

        <procdesc>Aerial photos of the channel from Gardiner to Springdale were viewed in stereo and features identifiable as barbs or jetties, riprap, and dikes were mapped.  The spatial extent of features were transferred onto a digital orthophoto mosaic of the 1954 hardcopy photos to create the ArcView shapefile.</procdesc>
