Abstract:
This map package displays a parcel fabric built from records on file with the Missoula County Clerk and Recorder from 1884 through current (publication date of 6/11/2024). The parcel fabric includes deeds, surveys, plats, deed exhibits, and more as Simultaneous Conveyances and Conveyance Divisions--metadata of these layers may be found with the 2024 Map Missoula Parcel Fabric. Attached to each parcel, are recorded documents. The ultimate goal of Map Missoula is to provide a un-guaranteed "point and click title search". To date, the Map Missoula team has mapped over 70% of deeds recorded with the Missoula County Clerk and Recorder. Updates will be pushed through to the beta application on an irregular basis with the fabric ultimately being published to the Missoula County Property Information System at MissoulaProperty.usWhile Missoula County has made all attempts to ensure the correctness and suitability of information under our control and to correct any problems or errors which have been brought to our attention, no representation or guarantee can be made as to the correctness or suitability of that information or any other linked information presented, referenced, or implied. Purpose:
In accordance with they FY24 MLIA Grant - Map Missoula Year 4 - Statement of Work, the current progress of the Map Missoula parcel fabric has been published to a Map Package to be included in the Montana State Library GIS Data List.
