    <descript>
The Montana Transportation Framework is a statewide, standardized, database of road centerlines in the State of Montana. The Montana Transportation Framework is part of the Montana Spatial Data Infrastructure (MSDI). Through a federated approach, the Framework aggregates tribal, county, city, and federal road centerline data into a standardized database. The Transportation Framework contains roads centerline feature geometry, along with address ranges and other attributes. Individual data providers datasets have not been edgematched. As a result, gaps, overlaps, and duplicate features are present in the dataset.
      <purpose>The goal of the Montana Transportation Framework is to have a routinely updated statewide database of road centerlines for Montana. The Transportation Framework is designed to support uses including base mapping and geocoding. This dataset is not suitable for routing or network analysis.

            <edomv>Service Drive</edomv>
            <edomvd>Service Drive provides access to structures along the highway, usually parallel to a limited access highway. If these roads are named and addressed, they may be considered local roads.</edomvd>
          </edom>
          <edom>
            <edomv>Vehicular Trail</edomv>
