This data set was prepared for the Atlantic Richfield Company, which provided it to the Butte/Silver Bow government. The Butte/Silver Bow GIS department provided the data to the Montana State Library as images with a pixel size of 6 inches. The State Library re-sampled the images to a resolution of 1 foot. Digital images or aerial photographs were captured to support various corporate, governmental, municipal, and emergency management GIS activities.
