The hard copy records were scanned and transcribed by Butte-Silver Bow staff and then mapped using historic and modern aerial imagery, georeferenced historic maps, USGS topo basemaps from ESRI, and current road centerlines as a reference. The purpose of this data is to enable the City and County of Butte-Silver Bow to determine if they have prescriptive use/ ownership to the roads that run within its boundaries.
