These data show lands that are owned by Montana Fish, Widlife, and Parks (FWP) or are associated with FWP management units. The data were digitized by the Montana Natural Heritage program from BLM 1:100,000 scale maps and USGS 1:24,000 scale maps. This coverage is not comprehensive - FWP owns other land. A few areas are from USFS 1:126,720 scale maps.
The data were removed from the State Library's web site when FWP published their own land ownership layer.
