The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library, the premier research library in Montana, facilitates the intellectual and creative pursuits of all members of the University of Montana (UM) community and supports their informational, educational and cultural development as global citizens. The library serves as a place of study, research, and exploration for students and community members. The expertise of our personnel and the focus of our efforts lie in facilitating the discovery, creation and expansion of knowledge.
The Mansfield Library exists in two physical locations, one at the Mountain Campus and one at Missoula College, and provides a robust online presence. Operations involve direct instruction, research support and interactions with students and others, behind the scenes activities in the form of materials acquisitions and organization, and technological infrastructure creation and maintenance. |
