State agencies have been using open data tools to increase access to their GIS data collections. The State Library will be exploring ways that we can better integrate data on these sites with the Data List, but for now we wanted to make sure you are aware of these state agency Open Data Portals since you may need to check these sites for data you previously found in the Data List -
Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks: gis-mtfwp.opendata.arcgis.com
Montana Department of Transportation: gis-mdt.opendata.arcgis.com
We will also be working with agencies to add records to the data list to help direct you to these sites.
