Abstract
|
This raster dataset represents the spatial distribution of the number of days in which the daily minimum temperature is greater than 32 degrees fahrenheit based on a 5 in 10 year probablility. This data set differs form the other data in this collection in that cryic soils data has been embedded into the raster. This image service has a function applied for symbology: ColorDkBlueToYellow

Purpose

This raster dataset is intended to be used by NRCS employees (soil scientists, range scientists, and biologists) to examine the spatial relationships of minimum daily temperatures. This data can be used as a tool to determine growing season and suitability for certain crops.
