| Abstract
|
These data depict Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administrative units (Field Office boundaries) in Montana. The attribute data include the name and contact information for each Field Office.This data was compared to the blm web site in 2014 and the regions were found to be significantly different. The data has been archived.

| Purpose
|
This layer allows the user to identify the administrative office responsible for any given BLM parcel in Montana and provides the contact information (address and phone) for the Field Manager.

| Supplemental Information
|
Montana/Dakotas BLM changed from a 'three-tier' organization (state office/district office/resource area office) to a 'two-tier' organization (state office/field office) several years ago. These data reflect the new 'two-tier' organization.
