MSDI Framework Administrative Boundaries
Abstract National Park Service unit boundaries.
Purpose Service wide boundary set for display and general analysis purposes.
Supplemental Information This data was downloaded from the NPS website. The NPS is the data creator. Montana State Library selected all the data that exists within the State of Montana, some boundaries lie in multiple states, and maintains this dataset regularly. The NPS puts on updates as needed basis. MSL checks for updates annually. For the full version of the data - https://irma.nps.gov/App/Reference/Profile/2210710
Use Constraints The data is intended for use as a tool for display and general GIS analysis purposes only. It is in no way intended for engineering or legal purposes. The data accuracy is checked against best available sources which may be dated. NPS assumes no liability for use of this data. Boundaries from the Land Resources Division have separate polygons for each type of unit. For example Denali National Park and Denali National Preserve are separate individual polygons.
