Abstract Color air photos of the Yellowstone River floodplain between Glendive and Fairview, Montana. The images are mosaics of orthorectified photos were taken on October 28, 1977. The horizontal resolution of the photos is 1 meter.
Purpose These images were created for the Yellowstone River Conservation Districts Council, to support understanding of the Yellowstone River floodplain, including hydraulic floodplain delineation, planimetric data extraction, and as a base map for monitoring long-term river channel changes.
